Instruction Ideas:

Use Idaho CIS software to explore careers
Compare / contrast information from different careers
Play "The Career Game"
Students participate in a "Shadow Day" of a person in a career they are interested in

Project Directions:

Create a 2-3 page newspaper that reports on your career you have chosen. Choose the hardware and software tools to complete the following tasks:

Write an article on the role technology plays in the career you are studying.
Conduct an "email interview" with a person who actually does the career. Write an article with the information from your interview. Be sure to ask the person about the role of technology in their job.
Write an article on the salary, hours, and training/education needed to do your career. Add a graph to show these figures.
Add some pictures of people actually doing the career.
